I'm not sure Shaun is actually trying to "discredit" NSDM, and he actually does have a point. The Wekusko area is Precambrian so kimberlites should either be exposed at surface or be under very shallow Quaternary cover. For sure they would have been glaciated. Therefore prospecting for indicator minerals (or exposed volcanic material) makes sense. First of all, it would be much cheaper than drilling, and secondly, it might lead to "hidden" kimberlites which have little or no magnetic signature.
