Coincidentally, I found this interesting article that I am posting for good reading.
The Scoop On iNutrition MLM
If you’re reading this article then you’ve probably heard about the new iNutrition MLM opportunity that pre-launched on March 27th, 2008 (as best as I can tell). There seems to be a lot of unknowns involved in the inutrition MLM. For example, while we know they’re offering health products, we don’t know if these products will be purchased individually or if they’ll be offered in a package shipped monthly.
I mention this because some MLMs in this product category end up requiring their marketers to purchase product monthly to remain affiliated with them. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing since you should want the product anyway if you believe in it enough to sell it. Recurring billing is also great for network marketers if the company provides monthly commissions on the monthly sales. However inutrition doesn’t say if this will be the case or not.
In fact, we don’t know what the commission plan is going to be and neither does iNutrition. When questioned they simply reply that they’re currently conducting research to determine their product prices and a competitive payment schedule.
Since iNutrition left me with more questions than answers, I decided to do a little digging. I started with iNutrition’s CEO Timothy Connelly and followed the paper trail. Here’s what I found out:
Timothy Connelly was formerly the CEO of Turnaround Partners, Inc. Turnaround Partners (symbol: TRNP). Turnaround Partners focuses on buying or consulting firms in trouble. Connelly himself was responsible for mergers/acquisitions, sales strategy, marketing, and strategic planning.
According to the PR newswire; On January 7th, 2008 Turnaround Partners sold their minority (10%) share of Interactive Nutrition to Natural Nutrition, Inc. Around that time (Dec. 5th) Russell Kiddler replaced Timothy Connelly as the CEO of Turnaround Partners and Connelly became the CEO of Natural Nutrition which is the parent company of Interactive Nutrition.
Now it gets a little weird. The primary business of Natural Nutrition according to Wright Reports is providing leasing equipment and originating and selling business leases as well as providing short-term secured loans and brokerage activities. Nothing in there even hints at nutrition. However, Interactive nutrition is a subsidy of Natural Nutrition, so I decided to look at the child instead of the parent and the weirdness subsided.
Interactive Nutrition claims to be a leader in sports and nutritional supplements with over 10 years of research and sales in over 15 countries. Bizjournals.com reported that on March 3rd of this year Iraq saw it’s first shipment Interactive Nutrition’s products.
They also have an impressive list of athletes endorsing their products: Jason Motard, Brian Robitaille, Monica Alongi, Natalie Waples, Sara Zahab, Ginette Delhaes, Henderson Thorne, John Hastings, Stephane Bussiere, and Pat Woodcock among them. Interactive Nutrition seems to be a pretty good company
So what’s my verdict?
I say proceed cautiously. This MLM looks like it could be a good money making opportunity. I personally hope they over some packages with recurring billing. At this point I’m willing to throw a few dollars advertising for iNutrition since sign-ups are free right now. But I’d like to see their payout structure before I spend any real money in building the business. I’ve gotta say, I’m sold on the company and the concept. I just need them to show me the money . If you’d like to join me, CLICK HERE and sign up for free. I’ll keep you updated on iNutrition’s progress and tell you whether it’s worth a major marketing push or not. For now I’d just send the link to friends and family, post it on whatever websites you may have and maybe do a little article marketing.
