Most investors won't invest in ANY pink sheet listed stocks because they are much too risky. "Caveat Emptor" means "buyer beware" and is listed at pinksheets.com here:

http://www.pinksheets.com/pink/quote/quote.jsp?symbol=KGLJ#getQuote

...along with a graphic of a skull and crossbones, the same thing widely used as an international symbol for POISON. It is the LOWEST POSSIBLE rating a pink sheet listed stock can have, and what that rating says is "THIS IS PROBABLY A SWINDLE" and "DO NOT INVEST HERE BECAUSE YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY," or maybe " HAAARRRRRR Mateys, there be PIRATES here". The pinksheets.com page lists seven possible reasons a stock might be listed this way. By my count, KGLJ right now fits 6 and possibly 7 of the 7 reasons, and the lack of clear indication that the problems are being addressed brings in the 7th.

Management needs to recognize the reality that exists and get to work to FIX each and ALL of the problems... as outlined previously... or there will be efforts begun to fix the problems without cooperation from the company under the assumption that the problems include the management of the company.

Here's what Pinksheets.com STILL says about KGLJ:

Pink Sheets has discontinued the display of quotes on pinksheets.com for this security because it has been labeled Caveat Emptor (Buyer Beware) and because adequate current information has not been made available by the issuer of the securities. It has been labeled Caveat Emptor for one of the following reasons.

* Questionable Promotion — The security is being promoted to the public, but adequate current information about the issuer has not been made available to the public.
* Spam — The security is the subject of spam promotion having the effect of encouraging trading of the issuer's securities.
* Investigation of Fraud — There is a known investigation of fraudulent activity committed by the company or insiders.
* Suspension/Halt — A Regulatory Authority has halted or suspended trading for public interest concerns (i.e. not a news or earning halt).
* Disruptive Corporate Actions — The security or issuer is the subject of disruptive corporate actions, such as reverse mergers or serial stocks splits and name changes without adequate current information being publicly available.
* Unsolicited Quotes — The security has only been quoted on an unsolicited basis since it entered the public markets and the issuer has not made adequate current information available to the public.
* Other Public Interest Concern — There is, in Pink Sheets view, a public interest concern.

Consequently, Pink Sheets has removed the quotes from this website until adequate current information is made available by the issuer pursuant to Pink Sheets Guidelines for Providing Adequate Current Information (PDF) and until Pink Sheets believes there is no longer a public interest concern. Investors are encouraged to use care and due diligence in their investment decisions. Please read our Investor Protection page for more information.

downside,

After the Enron (etc. etc. etc.) Worldcom (etc. etc.) Global Crossings (etc. etc. etc)on top of the wild west world of pinks I look at things from alot more angles. Take this SEC halt. Do you suppose that KGLJ and the other 25 were the only questionable shells? A: No! So why the timing? Funny that Cramer /others announce HUGE BREAKING NEWS that will cause other gas co's to have investor $$$ and PPS that ring the bell. But as you stated, not this dead horse.

Why would anyone want to run this into the ground with a SEC investigation? I mean the assets are supposedly there. The wells and all those acres under lease. Hmmmmm.....didn't you make the point of questioning asset control if KGLJ stops trading and gets bottle necked in litigation and trying to uncoil the shell predicament?
