Everyone should listen to it: a Wall Street Reporter interview of Dr. Skolnick on 3/18/04. Two interesting things that I picked up are:

- the company has just about completed a private placement that should take care of the company's financing needs for the next 6 to 9 months, and they're in discussions with investment bankers to obtain enough money to cover the company's needs for the next 3 to 4 years.

- the company's sepsis treatment focuses on E. coli because it causes 65% of sepsis cases. Reading between the lines, I believe their intention is to use the E. coli testing to demonstrate and further refine their anti-bacterial approach, which will put the company in a very strong position to quickly apply their treatment to infections by other gram-negative bacteria and fairly quickly develop a treatment for infections by gram-positive bacteria.
