i am an individual investor in the U.S. that can walk across the border and open a canadian account just like you and short any stock i want to.

i have never done this but i do short listed stocks often using a U.S. account.

shorting is only a problem on penny stocks where manipulation by use of these silly boards can become an influential factor.

this is why you are here imo.

i have never posted on a board that i did not have a stake in.
why would anyone?
