I've been putting in "bids", makes it seem like an auction to me, learned about buy limit orders after sending a market order and buying 40 cents higher than the actual price. The extra cost for the limit order would have been much less than the 40 cents extra per share. Rarely do market orders anymore. Kicking off buys/sells at night does take out most of the emotion, and I do get it at my price.

Still confused on the sell side - one night I issue a limit order for profits, next night I place a stop loss. I can't have both at the same time, and Fidelity suggested putting half my position in each type of sell.
