Thanks for posting Dave Mock's article written for TMF today.

I would like to put some emphasis on two sentences at the bottom of the article.

Though he doesn't own shares in the company, Dave Mock wrote the book on Qualcomm -- literally. His corporate biography on the company, "The Qualcomm Equation", will be published by AMACOM in the fall.

If any company ever deserved (and needed) a Corporate Bio to be written about them it is QUALCOMM.

The cat is out of the bag, and this confirms a rumor started by George Gilder a few months back.

I have every reason to believe this fine young engineer, and fellow Fool turned author as put a huge amount of effort into this labor of love.

Wanting to write a book, actually writing a book is one thing. Lining up a publisher, getting cooperation from the corporation you are writing about, interviewing the proper people at that corporation, alumni of that corporation, observers of that corporation, and getting the book edited and published is another.

I hereby propose a board toast to my Orange County based friend Dave Mock ...

... and the pending publication of the long overdue "The Qualcomm Equation."

Yes, since they got rid of Vesper in South Aamerica, it is firing on all cylinders. Nothing but upside from here.
