"why has he remained so quiet to everyone?", IMO, if they have given up, they may simply prefer not to announce publicly that they failed. It would serve them no purpose, and would only open themselves up to public humiliation. It would seem that they have licked their wounds and just gone on with their lives and other endeavors. I doubt we will ever hear from them again, as we never heard from the Schaeffers again either after Sandler and the mysterious investment group took over.
And I'm not even saying they failed because they were inept, although that remains questionable. It could simply be that there was way too much baggage, too many skeletons left over from the Schaeffers that could not be overcome. They never got the financing, so they never got a shot to prove they could pull off a good production and sell it to a network.
If they had gotten the financing or sponsors that they needed, I believe the first episodes of the new Reality Racing would be in the can by now, they would have a contract with a network, such as Speed, and the pps would be around .20.
I don't think they didn't try, I think they never had a chance, and I think they realize that now and have left the building.
