but the others were all "auction" specialists that refuse to use PayPal as a result.

I know that there are a lot of "auctioners" on Ebay that will not accept Paypal as a form of payment.

A whole lot more will.

I just bought an engine and transmission for my son's car on Ebay. The preferred form of payment was PayPal.

I didn't use them for that purchase since it was so large. I called the vendor and completed the transaction over the phone.
I will travel to PA. tomorrow to pick it up.

I love Ebay and I love PayPal.

Whether either is a good investment is yet to be proven.
