braden i think i understand these guy(s) now. claims to be a shorter only as a "front". they bash the stock not to "short" but to "flip". bashing COPI (and other off-radar stocks) does work because new investors come in everyday when they hear the "buzz" to study the posts. otherwise the pps would be higher based on all of the outstanding events and news that have occured and will occur when the financials come out, convention, roadshow, etc.
bashers take advantage of the long's purchases and enthusiam. when the stock goes up as it has done numerous times just in the last few months they sell off and the price drops. they have entry buy points so they bash until the price drifts down keeping new investors in a wait-and-see-mode by spinning fears about the company. weakies get nervous and sell based on bashers repeated "spin" analysis posts. bashers run in packs and alert each other to good "flipping" stocks.
when their "entry" price hits again they buy, stop bashing, and wait for news or the many new investors to spend their 2k to 5k bringing the price up. its a money making strategy. big money. otherwise they wouldn't spend as much time as they do here. the computer driven MMs love it because its a "churn" bringing them "gap" profits, commissions. happens all the time. otherwise who in their right mind would sell off when they understand what they hold? flippers! COPI is the next product, market category killer in telecom technology. hands down.
if the longs didn't believe in this gem of a company there would be nothing to flip. so in a sense these flippers are "eating" our good will. its one way to make money. you can draw your own conclusion is to what you think about it. just my take. glta longs.
