#915 RE: yardarm #914

yardarm, Reread the below post. Apparently Burt Webber violated a previous contract and the other party in that contract is going to hold him to that contract. The interesting part of all this is that the other parties attorney now represents Burt Webber. ( I'm not a legal expert, but I think that's called a conflict of interest ). I think the legal ramifications of what the attorney did, could get interesting.

palerider, Sorry, I was away for awhile and missed that. What I didn't miss is that another lawsuit is being filed in which Burt Webber signed an agreement to give 25% of the salvaged items from any of his wrecks that were found to another company. Burt Webber unilaterally disengaged from that contract, which was not legal according to the way the contract was drawn up by the other parties attorney. ( I do have a copy of that contract ).
So,apparently he still owes the other company 25% of anything that is recovered.

Which means that MEXP stands to lose 25% of anything that is recovered. I know that the person that stands to gain that 25% is hoping that Burt Webber finds the Mother Lode.
