I would've never guessed that they would acquire a financing company to "assist its customers with short-term financing for their purchases." Why would they do that?

Are they going to be selling to private industries?

If they sell to government, can government finance something?

Or maybe the purchase is so large that they have to help out the client. I'm thinking of the sales of the InfrAegis products which can be large multi-million dollar sales and perhaps HSFI needs to provide a bridge loan to pay InfrAegis while the client might be on a longer budgeting cycle or terms.

Any thoughts on why they would need to acquire a company like this?
