Silver's been getting hit pretty hard the last couple days. It's starting to appear that Tsafi was right about silver...in the short-term. But it will be interesting to see how it closes out the week (won't count it out yet). This may have contributed a little to the drop, but I think that the metal traders (not investors) wanted a full point rate cut and didn't quite get what they wanted, so they got out.
Surprising that Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers had "better than expected" profits; I'm sure that this also contributed to gold & silver's drop today.
