T.J.: Yes they cut the discount rate by 0.25 (from 3.5 to 3.25) That is not a lot but it gives the signal that the FED doesn’t sleep and a 1 pt cut is now “legitimately” expected on Tuesday. Thus US futures are now up! But the Aussies (the only market open now) are going lower…
