As has been mentioned, the companies most likely gather the address info from the broker -unless you request them not to do so.
I've gotten mailings about proxys, dividends, etc without sending the company my personal info; unsolicited.

They definitely have our contact information, imo. And, in our case, that's a good thing I think. Things are looking up folks...
