Oh that's so sad.

Hopefully he didn't suffer too much

Words really do escape me right now.

The only silver lining I can possibly see is the possibility that he was out like a light without even realizing it was happening.

golf...

I am very saddened to hear this news. Zeev was a great asset to the I-hub boards that bear his name, and I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed our exchanges on both this and the other board over the years. His death is a great loss, and I send my condolences to his family and friends.

Woah.

That is serious.
I am very grateful for his contribution/legend on IHUB.
I pay my respects and was glad to be apart of his board.
For apparent reasons- Death/Life are the MOST IMPORTANT THING.
Stocks/politics pass on.

This is for all the lookers who are still wondering what ETERNITY is about.

May the Lord be with Zeevs family in the hard times ahead.
He hears you.

What I admired about Zeev Hed was his unfailing attempt to get at the grist of an issue as he saw it. Below is a reprint of a post during one of his conversations on this board.
Thank you for your time on this planet AZH, your presence and contributions were appreciated.
Bless you my friend, go in peace.

What was the point they were trying to make? How does that point compare with the point Cheney was trying to make when he mentioned his daughter's sexual preferences? And yes, I think that both Edwards and Kerry were awkward in handling the issue. Probably because personally they are still undergoing the transition from being raised to view homosexuality as an "abomination" but intellectually, they understand that they have no right to impose their personal feelings on that matter.

I have seen and met many types of bigots, very intelligent one as well (even a Nobel prize laureate I had some heated arguments with when he tried to present a theory of racial superiority). I find that bigotry is ingrained and a result of the specific upbringing a person "suffers" under. Some get over that handicap, and intellectually, understand the erring of this habit, and institute in their own home a strict regime that break that chain of bigotry. I think that Edwards and Kerry are simply working hard on it and thus the awkward type of response. Should I fault them because they are struggling to free themselves from the chains imposed on them by their specific faiths in that matter?
