During the 1/15/08 CC, Ledbetter mentioned that it takes 8 or 9 months to receive the custom ordered material needed for drilling and they were looking at a couple of months before placing the order. 2 weeks later it was announced they had ordered the custom made drilling paraphernalia. That was, IMHO, a very strong indicator that Addax had secured a rig for 08.

That was from BB. I'll try to find the link where it was stated that the equipment had been odered.

I think it was Addax's CFO who said it at a conference -- Whistler, or maybe in their recent conference call??. I don't believe it was in a printed release.

One way or the other, the message seemed clear to me: Addax is close to having secured the supplies and materials for the first well, and when a rig of opportunity becomes avaialble, they can grab it.
