10:22AM Advanced Micro upgraded at Caris (AMD) 16.52 +0.29: Caris upgrades AMD to Buy from Above Avg, raises their 2004-05 ests, and raises their target to $25 from $20; firm says channel checks confirm strength in both NOR Flash and x86 microprocessors (47% and 48% of rev, respectively) ending Q1 and entering Q2.

Interesting - Caris & Company only started their coverage of AMD 2 weeks ago, with an above average rating.

If Henry Richard´s "channel checks" hadn´t indicated a rather underwhelming Q1, I could get more enthusiastic.
