If Efficacy wanted to increase their share count in RPRX by a significant amount, let's say 2 million shares for argument's sake, within a short period of time, 3 weeks, say, how high do you suppose that they would drive the share price up in the process of amassing that larger position? Furthermore, when RPRX announced the IPO last year, the stock price was trading in the low 10's, and the offering was priced in the 13.75 range, after the road shows. I don't think it's quite as ridiculous as you do, that any offering will be priced significantly higher than $8.50, whether it be a traditional road show raise, a PIPE, or some other capital event.
Efficacy could NOT, IMO buy the additional 13% of their possible holding size, anywhere close to the single digits. Maybe I'm wrong.
