Does those numbers include business software, maintenance and other services? IBM gets a major portion of that while Intel gets very little, if any. So on the basis of revenue for the respective companies, IBM Power related revenue far exceeds Intel Itanium related revenue. And the growth in absolute dollars is far higher for the former than the latter.

Since none of the numbers show IPF CPU revenue, its hard to compare against other lines. From what numbers can be estimated, IBM gets far more profits from Power related business than Intel gets from Itanium related business. So it should be that Intel get out of the Itanium business, since it makes so much less profit and margins than their cash cow, x86 CPUs rather than IBM getting out of the Power business which is the bulk of theirs.
