Yeah... that's the one thing I hear about Scottrade that's negative. I actually use Ameritrade and haven't much problems. You may have to call in your order..

Someone on IHUB recommended ChoiceTrade and I switched about 6m ago from Fidelity active trader pro. $5/trade unlimited shares. I haven't found a symbol I can't trade.

It's no frills, quick and easy. Most are using third party tools for charting and L2 so there's really no reason to use a big brokerage house.
