Thanks for the great job you have done reed and your efforts are much appreciated.
Sadly, I regret that I may need to bow out however. The timing is less than perfect. Happily...I start a new position tomorrow and don't know how much time I will be able to devote to moderating the board. My dream job just happened to land in my lap and I found out late yesterday that I had secured the position moments after I put in for the mod job.
My deepest apologies to all members of the board and many thanks for the kind words of support. I am afraid that I would be doing all current and future members a disservice in even attempting to moderate the board given the limited time I will be able to devote from here on out.
Again, my deepest regrets and best of luck to whoever gets the post...you have a tough act to follow.

Yes Reed. Thanks for your great job here as mod. I know we spoke via PMs the last couple days, but I wanted to go public as well.

For the year or so that I've been on here, the insults have flown in all different directions, but I've never seen you on the giving end of them. I admire you for that.

I also appreciate the fact that you kept me on as an asst. mod after Brian left.

I know Brian took alot of flack for making me an asst. mod, and I'll bet you did too. I promised that if you thought I was doing a poor job as mod, you could kick me out no questions asked. I think I did a good job, and I guess you did too, since you never took me up on my offer.

It's a good example of: even if you don't agree, you still can remain cordial to eachother, and for that I salute you!


I hope you'll still continue to post, as it wouldn't be the same without you.



Kraken, you have some big shoes to fill, but I believe you'll do just fine.
