I find it interesting that everyone supporting Obama is talking about taking the money from the Iraq war spending and spend it on more entitlement programs, money that doesn't exist. They fail to recoginize that we are borrowing the money from our childrens future to fund the war and our failed spending policies of the democrat led congress. Even if Obama does become president, his tax and spend policies have to be approved by the congress, I know that you know that. The only responsible congress that we have had in the last 50 plus years was those elected in 1994, they balanced the budget and at the same time expanded spending. I was very encouraged because of the potential economic health of our country, then came the tax and spend republicans, soon to be replaced by the tax and spend democrats. We could have been economically secure if they would have budgeted based on revenue but no, they have to spend two dollars for every dollar we send them in taxes. I am beginning to question whether it makes any difference who gets elected it will just be more of the same.
I am really no longer a player, because of my age, I can coast out and have only a wife and daughter that I am responsible to, so it really doesn't matter who is elected, it really isnt going to change my life style.
I see where we are going to solve world wide problems of poverty now and Bush, just returned from a trip to Africa, where he has pledged 30 billion more to fight AIDS so all of our taxpayers should be jumping with joy for all we are doing to help all those poor people. As soon as they can double their populations again we will have a lot more oppertunities to spend and tax the wealthy and not so wealthy American worker.

Of course this will probably be construed to create more jobs for our country and we had better hope so because those jobs will be needed to create taxes to pay for all of our adopted new wellfare states.
Think I will just set back and enjoy the ongoing political soap opera.
