Rich, Re: "I wonder what action Q will take as a result of the Chinese company revealing confidential information."

I bet Dr. IMJ and company are pretty peaved. This isn't the first time, as the Q is still reeling from the first incident the Chinese "favorable" rates were revealed to the Koreans.

Back then times were somewhat different, the Q was struggling to get CDMA going into the Chinese and other developing markets. Now India has the biggest potential, SE Asia is starting to roll, EV-DO is taking off as is WCDMA. If they could determine who let the cat out of the bag, legal remedies might be taken. It would be interesting if the Q had slightly different terms for each licensee, so as to determine which agreement was revealed.

I wonder what action Q will take as a result of the Chinese company revealing confidential information.

If Q does not go after the Chinese/Korean co., could TI use that to their benefit in the ongoing trial? E.g., claim that Q is only selectively enforcing its agreements? Does it work that way?
