NutriPure Beverages, Inc. Clarifies Press Release

PHOENIX, Feb 22, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ --
NutriPure Beverages, Inc. (Pink Sheets: NUBV) announces a clarification of its Press Release dated Thursday February 7, 2008. The following quote from the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) in no way is an endorsement from CSPI for NutriPure's beverages.

The following quote is expressly retracted by the Company:

"The way that vitamin water is marketed and positioned it's made to look more healthful than other sugary beverages, but it's not -- it's still just a soft drink," said Margo G. Wootan, Director of Nutrition Policy at the Center for Science in the Public Interest. "It has this aura of healthfulness that is not deserved. Adding vitamins and minerals to junk food doesn't make it healthy."

Steve Nickolas, CEO and President of NutriPure Beverages, Inc. remarks, "The Center for Science in the Public Interest has in no way been in touch with NutriPure and CSPI most certainly has not endorsed our products. Margo G. Wootan, Director of Nutrition Policy at the Center has not reviewed and does not endorse our beverages. The quote was used to convey the uniqueness of NutriPure's Nu2O beverages as opposed to the popular products that dominate today's marketplace. To make it perfectly clear, CSPI does not endorse products and has not given NutriPure beverages permission to use any CSPI statements about products for any purposes whatsoever, including promotion. We offer our express apologies to CSPI and applaud their empirical positions on product reviews in the interest of public health".
