#38215 RE: Chris McConnel #38189

Obviously, not having the testimony sworn gives her ... well, more leeway.

like, duuuhhhhh.

But I'm not sure what the grounds there are to justify it -- especially as she is now eager to speak with the Commission again to challenge Richard Clarke, who, as we know, had to make all his claims under oath. Once again, she wants to lacerate her opponents, but never on a ground that makes for even close to a fair fight.

So what else is new? And what would one expect from this administration, that flipflops like crazy on its reasons for going to war; that "promises" 2.4m jobs, then retracts it a few days later; that says their prescription drug plan will cost $400b even when the key actuary for the plan said it would cost well over $500b and they knew it prior to the vote but didn't allow the actuary to tell anyone in Congress about the higher cost; that essentially fires honorable people like Shineski, Zinni, and others for telling inconvenient truths that they don't want people to know or to think about; that doesn't even include any of the cost of this war that they claim is sooooo necessary in their budget which even without those costs is half a trillion dollars in deficit. And I've only touched on a few outrageous points here.

This admin has something for everyone who considers him or herself a responsible citizen to be angry about.
