It is not a Dead Horse Issue because it’s ugly head keeps popping up. It is not a broker problem (RML Trading) but a clearing house problem (Penson Financial Service) that at one time was listed as a working partner with Wilshire on Wilshire web site. Like myself an investigator for Department of Securities for Florida on Monday was told the problem is that HMGP is not DTC eligible and my shares could not be put back in my account for trading.. We are waiting for clarification from Penson to see if this problem can be worked out . On Monday I contacted First Choice Brokers about opening a new account with my certificates. After hearing they used Penson as their clearing house I ask them to call Penson to see if they would accept my certs to open a new account, the answer was no.

Not sure why you are having or indicating this issue. I also have E-trade and I've had no problem with HMGP certificates being re-deposited into my E-trade account. This is as recent as last week.
