¶Sworker, Isuggest you re-read the first 100 Posts...

where I requested the Board's opinion on one of Tchocks Posts to provide guidelines on what you people really wanted to see deleted... I think the Majority's Message was very clear and I that's what I have been applying... In normal times, very few posts are deleted, that is until a late-comer arrives, with no appreciation of the ground already covered and wants to change the Rules previously agreed to...

Frankly, if you want to read the Shorting Bashers' Opinion of SEVU and Personal Attacks, all you have to do, is read the RB Message Board... Bear in mind that there are also Moderated Boards from which your Alias can be totally excluded from posting at the will of whom started the Thread: ie, Anthony Pacific's Shorters Board on SI...

We're a Long Board - that's our BIAS - BUT we don't automatically exclude posters: if Fan Club respects our self-imposed Rules, he can continue posting; so we're much more Tolerant than our Critics...

As far as having a thread dedicated to all the discarded garbage, including personal attacks, I think it's a bad idea, as it will create an incentive for the malicious Posters, such as Floyd Schneider on RB/SEVU, who keeps coming back under different Aliases all the time, to Slander SEVU and the Longs posting there...

OT: SRS, this is still in the picture...

We are in an evolution process of stepping up our "speed" and scaling capabilities, so nearly no site feature development has happened lately.

I am considering making a certain page you can enter something like you call the "trash can"..You enter the board ticker and you view all the deleted posts for that board..But I want it in a place, where you have to go find it because probably 99% of the posts that are deleted are trash, literally. So why put it in everybody's face?

BTW, I don't review them, but every post that gets deleted gets reviewed by an Admin (Gary, normally)...So, if one is unfairly deleted, it is restored..and if this occurs often, the Chairman can be chagned out. But, we have not had that problem on ANY board yet...

But, keep in mind, in Phase 2, we will do everytying the Community wants...everything posted to the "Wish List" board will be implemented if it makes sense..

Hope that helps. FM
