Have you noticed their is very little discussion
about Aero mufflers on all the automotive
enthusiast forums? Takes time to find them.
Only 2 or 3 mentioned "perhaps an increase in
fuel savings...so it seems minimal if any.
Other companies claim the same things, and there
are posts where people claim an increase in mileage
using those others, such as Borla.
Remember the one I posted recently, where one
guy actually lost mileage? To get any substantial
increase in fuel savings requires other modifications...
imvho. Do some research. I know not everyone has
the time, but it will defintiely give you a better
perspective of what is "real", and what is "hype".
I am not referring to the sites that are paid
to promote Aero, or those that are merely storefronts
for products. It will take a ton of marketing on
Aero's part to entice auto enthusiasts to switch
to their mufflers...imvho. The fact that Aero's
mufflers will be loud, as opposed to those that ave
packing to reduce noise, reduces Aero's potential to
reach more consumers...imvho. The claims of fuel mileage
increase are not a deciding factor for people...imvho.
So I would assume they view it as "hype"...imvho.
