But the families of those who are at the funerals mourning the loss of their loved ones, and those driving by seeing this particular group. When they relay their story and are asked "so who are these people" the answer will be some Baptist group.
Will they aren't some Baptist group! They are a cult! Like a camouflage death pit. So if we know where the pit is, and see those heading toward it yet do nothing about it than their blood is on our hands.
Now I can understand non-Christians in the world and those that have been very hurt by circumstances and misunderstandings, I can even understand the power-hungry and choose to control other people's lives, doing something like this. But not the Baptists. You are very correct, the wrath of man never works the will of God. I might add I know for a fact that it is not flesh and blood that we wrestle against the principalities and powers. I am not offended by this group, but more hurt, because they truly railed against what Jesus died for.
So as I always have, I will approach this issue from its headship those who were in authority of the Baptist denomination. As Paul did in Rome when he was presented before the Roman Council he went there with respect and submission, and they found no fault in him. Many of his epistles were written in Rome under house arrest. But these are the things that truly tare my heart apart. The world doesn't know any better, but we are not of the world.
If they were a common cult called by some other name I'm sure our Lord would have other things for me to do. But when they brand themselves as Baptist will that's where the bone needs to be divided from the marrow, the truth from the lie.
