I've been reading Sullivan through the campaign and know his views and his journey away from the prevailing Republicanism. I enjoy his blog. And this was an interesting article.

I disagree with Sullivan at some fundamental levels. He was in favour of the Iraq War and against the new American strategy. I was against the war and in favour of the new strategy. He's very concerned by the Catholic conservatism of the current Pope, and I care not a whit about it. But I like his writing. And he makes a bunch of insightful points.
