re: WANTED feature film
WANTED is based on a Top Cow comic, but the film was set up before us, and Platinum isn't involved financially or with credits.
The movie databases aren't always correct because edits and changes aren't limited just to the particular company, not totally unlike Wikipedia. Everyone sends updates and credits to the db's, but the db's decide which of the updates and credits they want to use -- nothing's automaticcan take some time and multiple emails over long periods of time. WANTED is a good example of that. It finally got off IMDB (GOOGLE might have given you an old link), but then it popped up on other db's. They might have gotten it from old links, or old updates. There's a lot of chasing to get these fixed.
We (Hollywood in general) utilize these db's knowing that the info is "approximate," and extremely helpful. If we're having a meeting with a writer, for instance, we'll look him/her up on the db and get a feel for what's been developed and where. We automatically figure that some of the info is incorrect, but that even the incorrect info still means something, like they almost worked with so & so, or they used to be on the project or they were somehow connected with. With WANTED, it's easy to see how it happened: wanted -- top cow -- platinum etc.
