This pisses me off every time I read it.....

Baltic and Phoscan will combine their interest in the Martison phosphate project, in which they each currently hold an equal joint venture interest.............such that former Baltic shareholders will hold approximately 37.2 per cent of the then issued and outstanding common shares of Phoscan.......

Baltic had the lower float and was the best bang for the Martison buck last spring when we first found this play.
Now that has been eroded away into shares into some Canadian Orebodies newco bullshit.

PHOSCAN ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF JAMES GOWANS TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Phoscan Chemical Corp. has nominated James Gowans has been nominated for election to the board of directors of Phoscan. Mr. Gowans is the president and chief executive officer of De Beers Canada Inc., a member of the De Beers group of companies. Mr. Gowans has more than 30 years of experience in the mining industry, including exploration, major projects, operations and human resources. Prior to joining De Beers Canada in March, 2006, Mr. Gowans was senior vice-president and chief operating officer of PT Inco Indonesia from 2002 to 2006. From 1993 to 2001, he was employed by Placer Dome, first as vice-president, design and research, and ultimately as executive vice-president, Canada. After receiving his bachelor of applied science in mineral engineering from the University of British Columbia in 1974 he joined Cominco Ltd. (now Teck Cominco Ltd.) where he advanced through various technical and managerial positions, including mill superintendent at Con Operations in Yellowknife, NWT; operations manager, potash operations in Vanscoy, Sask.; project engineer for the Polaris mine project in Canada's High Arctic; and manager, engineering, for the Red Dog project in Alaska. Shareholders of Phoscan will vote on Mr. Gowans's election at the special meeting of shareholders to be held on March 4, 2008.
