hmmm Tag. Not so sure I agree with you there.
"...plenty of stocks go up in a down market. You buy them red on green market days"

The thinking against this maneuver would be that "If it can't go up on a green market day, then it sure ain't going up on a red market day". I'd rather buy a green stock on a red day for the same reason...but to each his own.
