Does that mean that they are behind in the technology process? I am sure that if they contact Aero, they could license the process, or negotiate a partnership of some sort and manufacture the mufflers themselves-If Aero sees that as a viable avenue. You seem pretty sure that they will come out with something competetitive is "imminent", (we all know what that word means)..

What do you base your opinon upon. Obviously they have a similar technology with current mufflers, but not good enough to be used by Nascar to improve mileage and performance as well or it would currently be used and not replaced..

Well, Erni, Since Magnaflow has a 30,000 sq ft manufacturing plant or whatever maybe they can just buy Aero since they are so far behind on the technology.
Just a thought. They are making soooo much money, why waste time reinventing Aero's muffler? Why not buy the struggling little worthless company? Hummm
I guess they will spend millions on research and come up with another inferior muffler.

The improvement has to be marked. It cannot be a nearly insignificant improvement so it may be cost prohibitive to tinker with Aero's design. I agree with the other reply. Anyone interested in Aero's designs could simply buy the company outright. Thats the deal with public companies. They could get it really cheap.
