I guess much has changed with the security of RFID since I last reviewed the issue in 2006, but there is no way anyone can convince me that RFID is secure.

I stopped using my bank debit card in 2007, after someone went on a $10,000.,shopping spree with information form my daughters debit card (which never left her hands).

The criminal went on a shopping spree over three states. Wachovia bank allowed over $5,000., charges to my daughter's bank account and allowed the criminal additional charges of $5,700., more in excess of the balance in her checking account.

Wachovia Bank gave all her money back to her, but this is frightening to know that anyone standing in line with you, checking out of the grocery store or whatever, can access your debit card information, transfer it to their cell phone and wipe out your bank account.
