From a shipping/logistics point of view 9 containers a day *IS* small potatoes. We don't know if your numbers are right regarding how many bottles a day are being filled. I did the math a few months ago and Iroquois was able to handle the volume themselves.

A bottle of imported water is around 1$. Domestic bottled water is 25-30 cents. (350mls is the standard i believe and i am using Canadian $)
The market for imported water is purely affluent Chinese and in hotels for tourists.
Recently Cott (iroqouis old benefactor) partnered with a Chinese bottler because it was not profitable to ship their product to China. The Canadian government also recommends this action in a report they put out on the industry in august of 2006.
