I have similar thoughts on that also. What was it used for. But I had another thought about the use of stocks for compensation. Think about this possibility. Lets say you have enough personal money to pay your bills. I you are given a chance to receive stock as pay for a month or 3 that you believe (just like we believe) will be worth many hundreds maybe 10,000% over time OR receive normal pay in dollars. What would you choose? That stock could net them a huge benefit compared to the salary. I'd take the stock. Maybe Spooz used this approach to attract and hire some of our new employees.
This may have helped entice them to take the job. Just a thought.
IMO that would be a good deal for us. A top notch employee will net us huge benefits over time. Without them Spooz is nothing.

Bucks, with respect, Spooz has much more expense than just the 8 new hires. While it would be nice to think that the payment from 141 would have covered them for everything, probably not realistic given that the launch just took off.

Not to worry...if we can believe Paul, and I think we can, they will break even mid year in 2008 and it will be upward and onward from there.

Hang in...this is only the beginning!
