I agree and disagree. The science has progressed but IMO, Tony was led astray by his choice of who to run the business side of things and help build shareholder value. That, to me, is what has been lacking for investors.
All that has been brought in as far as financing goes is death spiral stuff which is easy to find. I'll never forget Dick's words in one of the shareholder's meetings (I've been to three)..."That's the only option out there" when referring to the La Jolla deal.
