You are totally overhyping this feature [nx], Petz. It is not the catch all for computer viruses and hacking - far from it.

Does it have to be a literal "catch-all?" I think many will appreciate its "catch-many-of-the-worst" quality.

This feature is being hyped occasionally in the mainstream press, btw.

Re: It is not the catch all for computer viruses and hacking

It doesn't need to be. It adds nothing to costs.

If buying a green car means you're half as likely to be injured or killed in an accident as you would be if you bought a blue car, which do you get, blue or green?

Sure, there's a good chance you won't have an accident either way.

But you're twice as likely to have one if you pick blue instead of green.

Which do pick? They both cost about the same, either one will get you to work in comfort, but one will do it with greater safety.

Buying an Intel server is like buying a car without air bags.

Maybe you won't ever need them, but what if you do.

Do you want your wife and kids in a car without air bags? Do you want your company's business depending on computers that don't have NX protection?
