I find it surprising that the discussion is over whether Wilf is honoring his word or not as to going to the DR on Janaury 15th.
Folks, the reality is that Wilf announced a major shareholder meeting where we all would have the oppotunity to send the crew off to the DR on that Saturday. NOT on Jnauary 15th, but way back at the meeting! That to me was a MAJOR announcemnt. He invited US to coe to SEE them and see them OFF. And then that not only did not happen, but there was never any announcement that it would be delayed. It just ... "didn't happen". I don't even think the boat was THERE. Was it? Don't I remember something about it was elsewhere that day???
So to ME January 15th means NOTHING. It is just another date. If he sends them that day or sends them later, it doesn't matter. He still is not a man of his word. And as for "doo doo happens", sorry RM. A CEO doesn't make a major announcement, set up a shareholders meeting, and invite people in from all over the USA (shareholdes) to send the crew off and then not do it and not even say that it is not going to happen. That is wrong! He left that false impression that they wre going that Saturday in our minds the whole time leading up to the meeting. He lied. And he wasn't off by a day or two, but off by a LONG shot.
The man has no honor. And his word means nothing.
The Deep Scan is just another issue. First it was sold. Then it was not sold so will go to the DR. then it was not sold, and can't go to the DR becuse it isn't very (seaworthy)! It is an albatross! And he has lied about it. Just like he lied about not selling more shares or needing to increase the float. the question is "HOw many times does a man have to lie in order for people to see him as a liar?"
The stock price shows that his support is gone. And when -B gets to the point where he gives up and sells that 20MM shares or whatever he has, I see the stock going even lower. Not "much" lower, but that's because it is already worth less than a penny!
One last thought. If something GOOD actually comes out on the company, I do NOT see the stock moving higher and staying there. Think about it. Even the LOYAL people on this board have said "I need it to go up one more time, so I can get OUT". There are so many people that are lined up at the door, waiting to get out when it "goes up on good news" that it will probably go up and then come RIGHT BACK DOWN. So, IF you get that lucky, get out early. Don't delay. Hit the door before the others do, or you'll be stuck with it back at a penny again. Just my opinion. WHich obviously has turned much more bearish than before. I truly think that the dishonesty of this CEO WILL come back and crush this stock AND the company in the future. regardless of any finds that are brouhgt up.
And I HATE being bearish on ANY stock. NOrmally I am either a bull or I am silent. But I see so many disputing things on this board that should no longer be disputed. He has lied. MUltiple times. On multiple subjects. He crushed the rally in 2007 by selling shares that he should NOT have been selling. A treasure was found and yet has not been searched for in what? 1/3 of a YEAR? there are problems here, and I repeat that I HATE to tell people it is not worth owning. I'm a perpetual bull in the market ... on SOMETHING. And I hope you don't call this whining. I'm stating some facts, and some opinions, and that is what this is. Since I don't OWN any shares at this time, there is no reason for me to whine. But, I can INFORM others that this CEo has proven himself to be untrustworthy, and that is worth repeating once in a while.
Good luck to all longs. I hope the spike DOES occur, and you all get out with a profit. I doubt it, but I can at least hope for it for you. :-)
