TG - I'm in. I want to get the sample and try it out first. Makes it much easier to write the request and add a SHORT personal experience with the product.

In your retail experience, do foresee any red flags going up if all of a sudden a company gets 100 emails or more for the same product in a one month or shorter timeframe requesting that their stores carry the product?

Also - why stop at home depot? Whey not send requests to Loes, Walmart, Etc...?

I'm up for it.

Good questions Pop, I should have added this to the post and I will go back and do so:

Be sure to tell them you got a sample from the company and that is why you are writing. We are not trying to be deceptive here, so let them know you have a sample. Also we target Home Depot, because they have the product in there system already. Albeit is in the Canadian system they can still access it. So we push them to just extend the availability from Canada down to us here in the states.

As for them wondering why so many so soon..we all got samples and are following up with them. Remember just becasue you are a share holder, you are still to them a "Customer" I would not say out right that you hold shares, and if they want to imply you are no big deal. So again let them know that you have a free sample or that its available in your area, but if it was at the Home Depot it would be more convenient for you.

We have here an opportunity that few share holders have and now that the samples are beging to arive I think its time to unvaile a thought I have had. I preferd the people have a chance to try the prodcut and once they seen its for real we do the following.

Here is the web address for Home Depot. We use this contact page and start a ground swell of requests for this product. Tell them that you have tried it, that you know its available in HD Canada, tell them where you are from and that you want the HD in your area to start carrying this....and tell them you will be contacting "Their competitors in the area, Lowes, Ace Hardware, True Value, and will be asking them to carry it. Ask them if they prefer for you to shop at their store or the competitor.

As stated my background is retail, management, the worst thing a retailer can here is "Shop at the Competitor". Tell you family and friends to email them. When they begin to see IP address from Michingan, to Florida, to Texas and Main and California...they will notice believe me. No company has the push and pull to get a product into a retail store like customers have. It is important that you give them as much info as possible, with out going over board. If you happen to have a Home Depot credit card, be sure to put that in the email also...it tells them that you are indeed a Home Depot customer. Time for us to go on the offensive and help get this into the market place here in the U.S.

The web address:

http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ContentView?pn=About_Our_Stores&langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053#email

If you can not get this address to work then do the following:
www.homedepot.com
then click on "contact us" link at the bottom of the page on the left.
then under the "stores" header, click on the comments link
then under the Home Depot customer care header click on "send us an email"
then fill out the form and send it.

If you are going to wait for others to do this cuz you are to busy, then you can be what is known as ,"part of the problem, not part of the solution" Lets get this started what do you say?

After I e-mailed HD I figured there were plenty more retailers out there that should be carrying Winning Colours.

I sent the following message to these retailers today---Loews, Costco, Wal-Mart, Sears, Ace Hardware, True Value, Kroger, Safeway, ShopRite/Wakefern, Target, Sams Club and K-Mart

Dear Friends

I recently received a free sample of "Winning Colours" paint and stain remover in the mail. This product is manufactured by a Canadian Company called Winning Brands.

I immediately tried it on the worst stain in my house. My daughter spilled some hair coloring dye on my bedroom carpet earlier this year and to date, nothing has even made a dent in it. Following the label instructions I poured a small amount of Winning Colours on the stain and rubbed it in, then applied some water to it...it was gone!!!

The best part is that the product is non-toxic!...truly amazing

I was wondering if your Company has any intentions of carrying this product here in America...think it would be a big seller. I would like to be able to purchase this locally after my free sample runs out.

Thank You
