NO, we definetly expect that rAT is AT.

The "better" aspect rAT is that you don't get hep. or such from it (and it might be easier/cheaper to get in quantity).

I do not have a rule of thumb. For a given patient, the probability of symptomatic DVT depends on a numbers of factors including, but not limited to: the degree of AT deficiency (mild vs moderate), the kind of surgical procedure being performed, and the interval of time during which the patient is evaluated post-op.
