Management at IMA seems rather astute. This is the third company they have founded. The first they developed and sold to Abbott. The second one was sold to JNJ. This one was founded in 2001 and the POC machine under development will address the HIV market. I expect the cancer disease monitoring market to be even bigger. If the machine is at a reasonable cost and with the testing supplies being manufactured in China, it should sell really well.
They could also be in a position to sell the point of care strip that was also recently announced by Dr. Moro.
