If your questioning BOCX so much,as it was a risky venture to begin with,then sell it.When your emotions get to you questioning an investment it's time to move on.
When I first read the article, I took it the same way you did, but when I re-read it, I caught that the "nothing needs to be done" mindset was in the context of mergers and acquisitions. I'm sure there is plenty of other stuff being done. I couldn't get the link to the JP Morgan webcast to work this morning, so I haven't heard the whole thing yet. That article was just what I found by googling.
