Let me add one other important factor... I don't think Elizabeth Dole, Richard Burr, along with Congressman Brad Miller would stand for headlines of an empty American plant in N.C. they went out of their way to celebrate and promote the opening of.
"We are so pleased to welcome Force Protection to our great state," said Senator Dole. "This facility will not just benefit the local economy and create good North Carolina jobs - the folks working here will build bomb-resistant vehicles that are absolutely critical to keeping our men and women in combat safe."
Perhaps a letter to Senator Dole asking if she still supports the state-of-the-art facility in N.C. and the Cheetah? Is it important to her that N.C. get those 270 good jobs in her back yard? or maybe it just another empty promise..
I'll be sending one out today.. I hope many other do the same.
