sorry, i only read and saw something in the print or tv-medias about the "green-discussion" in the us. like "schwarzenegger is driving a hummer based on a hybrid-engine." (LOL).
in western countries of europe "green" is colouring everything of daily life. in germany we got a political party called "THE GREENS" (DIE GRÜNEN) since 25 years. they were the small coalition-partner in the federal government for over 6 years (1998 - 2005).
in the early 90ies the discussion about consuming "toxic or non-toxic" products first lead to non-toxic and high-priced alternatives. than after a few years it was "tres chic" to pay higher prices for eco- and health-friendly products. that were the mind-changing times. today it is absolutely normal to use such green things in every surounding. you go to the stores and you're scared, if they got no "bio-" (food) or "green" alternative-products (non-food). and normally you pay 20% ore more for the green stuff. and you have to keep in mind, that women got the opinion-leadership in making our world green. ;-)
even our cats are eating "green". they prefer "natures best" from the british company "hills". 8,8 lbs "bio"-cat-food for roughly $30!
i'm still REALLY wondering about seeing that such a practical PERC-free cleaning-solution like "winning colours paint and stain remover" is NOT available in german stores comparable to home-depot (i.e. "bauhaus" - 185 stores in 13 european countries, 2 billion euro revenues in 2006 only in the 120 german stores).
and i'm surpised seeing the price for "winning colours" is just one dollar above the toxic competitive product.
last but not least i believe that this "green-movement" will go on very fast in the united states and wnbd is right on time.
green - it's the winning colour.
