Hi goin fishin,
As an outsider, I'm not in an election posture. I am not choosing anyone. But I am curious. And I am hopeful that Americans will choose a less dogmatic and more global-friendly candidate than they did in the last two elections.

You know, I think when I see Obama make a speech, and when I see Ron Paul interviewed, I see two people who represent what I see as the two main contending themes of American political discourse since the republic was founded. It's the argument of, on the one hand, individual liberty, and on the other, the public good.

I think they'd offer a really compelling election debate, so I guess they are the pair I'd hope to see standing against one another.

Although I have a feeling other influences will intrude to prevent the match.
