If you have an order with Scottrade at the quoted price and it doesn't fill right away then you should pick up the phone and immediately call your branch office.
Some times they don't post at the trading desk, I use to call ameritrade because the same thing and now they don't even want callers asking them to post orders, they tell me all the market maker has to post is 5000 share bids or ask in public no matter what the real number is.
You should call them though and ask them to call the trading desk, but ameritrade wont even do it unless your an apex customer and now they even don't some times for apex
