It needs more vol. One or 2 more decent PRs and she goes.

TRW Integrated Chassis Systems, a subsidiary of TRW Automotive Holdings Corp., has completed the purchase of a portion of Delphi Corp.'s North American brake business for about $40 million, TRW said.

In addition, the company has leased a portion of the former Delphi Energy & Chassis Saginaw Operations facility, 2328 E. Genesee in Saginaw, and has become the employer of hourly and salaried workers at the site.

In conjunction with the asset purchase, TRW is supplying General Motors Corp. with a portion of the business, predominantly braking modules, that Delphi formerly supplied at the Saginaw plant.

With 2006 sales of $13.1 billion, TRW Automotive ranks among the world's leading automotive suppliers. It operates in 28 countries and employs about 63,800 people worldwide.

TRW's bid on the Delphi business first came to light in September. The plant's union leaders and Saginaw Valley economic development officials applauded the news. The plant had faced the possibility of closing since Troy-based Delphi Corp. filed for bankruptcy in October 2005. v
